Here’s what I’ve learned from my own life experience: when I don’t take time for me to rest and recharge, I burn out. I get resentful. I am certainly not at my best. 

I know you’re busy. I am too. But I learned a while ago that self-care was crucial for my own sanity. That if I didn’t make time for me, I couldn’t be of service to others.
